Brain setup prompts

01

The Context Setter — paste this first, every session

Brain

The most important prompt you'll ever use. Set this at the start of every Claude chat and every response will be tailored to you automatically — no re-explaining yourself ever again.

Prompt
You are my business assistant. I [what you do — e.g. build and sell AI receptionist systems] for [your target clients — e.g. dental clinics and med spas]. I'm based in [your city/country]. My clients pay [your price range — e.g. $300–500] per month. My goal right now is [your current main goal — e.g. close 5 new clients this month]. Whenever I give you a task, factor all of this in without me having to repeat it.

💡 Save this as a Claude Project instruction so it's loaded automatically every single session.

02

The Role Assigner — before any task

Brain

Assigning Claude a role before a task completely changes the quality of the output. Same question, two different results — this is the skill most people skip.

Prompt
You are a [role — e.g. senior sales copywriter / business strategist / cold outreach specialist] with 10+ years of experience working with [your industry — e.g. local service businesses / SaaS startups / e-commerce brands]. [Now paste your actual task or question].

💡 Try: "You are a dentist's office manager" before asking Claude to write patient-facing copy. The specificity changes everything.

03

The Destroyer — proof your ideas before you build them

Brain

Most people use Claude to validate their ideas. The smart move is using it to destroy them first. This one prompt saves you weeks of building the wrong thing.

Prompt
Here is my idea / plan / pitch: [paste your idea, pitch, or plan in full]. Do three things: 1. Steelman it — give me the absolute strongest version of this idea, the best case for why it works. 2. Destroy it — give me every reason it will fail. Be brutal. Don't hold back. 3. Fix it — rewrite the idea with all those weaknesses addressed. Do not be encouraging. Be honest.

💡 Use this before every sales pitch, every new product idea, and every new piece of content strategy.

Sales & outreach prompts

04

Ghost My Inbox — 5 DM replies in 10 seconds

Sales

Paste your unread DMs in and Claude writes replies that move every conversation toward a sale — without sounding pushy or scripted.

Prompt
Here are [number] messages I need to reply to. For each one, write a reply that moves the conversation toward [your goal — e.g. booking a discovery call / sending a proposal / closing the sale]. Keep it casual, direct, and under 60 words. Match my tone — I'm [describe your tone — e.g. friendly but professional / laid back and real / confident and direct]. Messages: [Paste each message on a new line, numbered]

💡 Do this every morning. Clear your inbox in 10 minutes instead of 2 hours.

05

Cold Outreach Machine — personalised DMs at scale

Sales

Generate targeted cold DMs for any business type. Each one feels personal even when you're sending to 50 prospects in one session.

Prompt
Write [number — e.g. 5] cold DM variations for reaching out to [business type — e.g. dental clinic owners / med spa managers / law firm partners] about [what you're selling — e.g. an AI receptionist system that handles inbound calls and books appointments automatically]. Rules: - Each DM under 60 words - Casual tone, not salesy - Reference a specific pain point they actually have - End with a question, not a pitch - Never use the word "I" in the first sentence

💡 Run this for 3 different business types and you have 15 DM variations to test in one sitting.

06

Objection Crusher — handle any sales pushback

Sales

Before your next sales call, prep every objection you might face and have Claude give you the perfect response for each one.

Prompt
I sell [your product/service] to [your target client] at [your price] per month. Give me the 5 most common objections this type of client would raise, and for each one write a natural, confident response that: - Acknowledges their concern without dismissing it - Reframes the objection as a reason to move forward - Ends with a question that keeps the conversation going Keep each response conversational, not scripted.

💡 Read these out loud before every sales call so the responses feel natural when they come up live.

Content & audience prompts

07

Hook Factory — 7 reel hooks from one idea

Content

Turn one video concept into 7 hook variations to test. The difference between 500 views and 500K views is almost always the first 3 seconds.

Prompt
I'm a content creator in the [your niche — e.g. AI business / entrepreneurship / personal finance] space. My audience is [describe your audience — e.g. 18–30 year olds who want to start an AI business]. My video idea is: [describe your video concept in one sentence]. Give me 7 hook variations for the first 3 seconds of this reel. For each hook: - Write the on-screen text (under 10 words) - Write what I'd say in the first sentence of voiceover - Label the hook type (curiosity / controversy / specific number / story / contrast) Make each one feel completely different. No generic openers.

💡 Post the top 3 as trial reels to find which hook gets the best retention before filming the full version.

08

Content Team — full reel package in one prompt

Content

One prompt outputs everything you need for a reel — hook, script, caption, hashtags, and trigger word. Your entire content team in 30 seconds.

Prompt
You are my content team. I create short-form reels about [your niche] for [your audience] on Instagram. Create a complete reel package for this concept: [your video idea]. Output: 1. ON-SCREEN HOOK — text overlay for first 2 seconds (max 8 words, must create curiosity or tension) 2. VOICEOVER SCRIPT — under 35 seconds, punchy sentences, no filler words 3. CAPTION — one line max, no explanation, just vibe or proof 4. TRIGGER WORD — one specific concrete word for the comment CTA 5. HASHTAGS — exactly 3, most relevant to reach cold audience

💡 Run this every morning before you film. Takes 30 seconds and you walk away ready to shoot.

09

Pain Quote Generator — for the client kit format

Content

The pain quote format (147K views, 2,035 comments) works because it makes the viewer feel seen. Generate 10 pain quotes for any product or niche instantly.

Prompt
I sell [your product — e.g. client templates / an AI receptionist system / a business guide] to [your audience — e.g. freelancers / small business owners / new entrepreneurs]. Write 10 pain quote hooks for a reel where I show this product as the solution. Each quote should: - Sound like something a real person would say out loud - Describe a specific, relatable frustration - Be in quotes, first person, under 12 words - End with 😭 or a relevant emoji Format: "[pain quote] 😭" on one line each. No numbering.

💡 Each pain quote is a different reel. 10 prompts = 10 videos ready to film with different B-roll each time.

Operations & planning prompts

The Operations Manager — 30-day action plan

Ops

Turn a vague goal into a specific day-by-day action plan. Replaces a $3,000/month project manager with a single prompt.

Prompt
You are my operations manager. My goal for the next 30 days is: [your specific goal — e.g. close 5 AI receptionist clients / grow my community from 37 to 100 members / make my first $1,000 online]. I currently have: [your resources — e.g. 28K Instagram followers, a working Ulio.ai setup, 2 hours per day to work on this]. Build me a 30-day action plan. For each week give me: - The one main priority - 3–5 specific daily actions - One thing to measure to know if it's working Be specific. No generic advice. Treat my time and resources as real constraints.
11

Research Analyst — full market brief in 30 seconds

Ops

Before pitching any client or entering any market, run this. Replaces hours of manual research with one structured output.

Prompt
You are a market research analyst. I want to [what you're doing — e.g. sell AI receptionist systems to dental clinics in Toronto]. Give me: 1. The size of this market and whether it's growing 2. The top 3 competitors already doing this and their main weaknesses 3. The biggest pain points my target client has right now 4. The ideal pricing model and why 5. The 3 best channels to reach these clients Be specific. Use numbers where possible. Flag anything you're uncertain about.

💡 Run this before every new niche you pitch. Walk into every call already knowing their business better than they do.

12

Weekly Review — what worked, what didn't, what's next

Ops

Spend 5 minutes every Sunday running this. It replaces the feeling of being busy but not making progress with a clear picture of where you actually are.

Prompt
You are my business advisor. Here's my week: What I did: [bullet point everything you worked on this week] What worked: [results, wins, things that went well] What didn't: [things that flopped, wasted time, didn't convert] My goal for next week: [what you want to achieve] Give me: 1. An honest assessment of this week in 3 sentences 2. The single highest-leverage thing I should focus on next week 3. One thing I should stop doing immediately 4. Three specific actions for Monday morning

Claude hacks most people don't know

✏️

Edit, don't follow up

If Claude misunderstood your prompt, don't send another message. Click the edit button on your original message and fix it. You get a cleaner response and use less of your usage limit.

📁

Use Projects for every client

Create a Claude Project for each client or business you're working on. Add their context, pricing, and goals in the instructions. Claude remembers everything automatically — forever.

🧠

Turn on Memory

Go to Settings → Memory and turn it on. Claude will remember your preferences, tone, and goals across every conversation. The more you use it, the better it gets.

🔗

Chain your prompts

Break big tasks into steps. Ask for the research first. Then the strategy. Then the execution. Three focused prompts always beat one giant prompt — the output quality is dramatically better.

💬

Combine your questions

Instead of sending 5 short messages, combine everything into one detailed prompt. Claude processes it all at once and gives you a more coherent, connected response.

🔄

Start fresh when chats get long

Very long chats get less efficient. When a conversation is getting unwieldy, ask Claude to summarise what you've covered, then paste that summary into a new chat to continue.

🎭

Give Claude a personality

Add to your Project instructions: "Communicate like a direct, no-fluff business advisor. Skip the preamble. Lead with the most important point." — transforms every response.

📱

Use the mobile app properly

On iPhone: use voice input to dictate prompts while commuting. Long-press a response to copy just the part you need. Add Claude to your home screen for one-tap access.

⚡

Use Sonnet for most tasks

Use Claude Sonnet for everyday tasks — faster and fewer usage limits. Save Opus for complex strategy, deep research, or anything where you need the best possible output.

📊

Ask for a table

Whenever Claude gives you a wall of text, just reply: "Put this in a table." — instantly turns any comparison, list, or plan into a scannable, copyable format.

🎯

Tell it what you don't want

Add to any prompt: "Do not include disclaimers, caveats, or suggestions to consult a professional. Just answer the question directly." — cuts 40% of the fluff from every response.

🔁

Ask Claude to improve its own answer

After any response you're not fully happy with, reply: "Now give me a better version. Be more specific, more direct, and cut anything that doesn't add value." — almost always gets you something stronger.
